Brian: Can you introduce about how they do here?
Mr.Lee: The bottles have lots of garbage inside when they are send over. Therefore, we clean
the bottles up with potion of water while picking out these unqualified ones as a part
of the standard procedure. They are sent to dry off after this step.
Brian: lets go to next step. this is the second stage of production and value added
service, so I will let Mr.Lee tell us a little bit about this stage.
Lee: after cleaning up the bottles, we send them to the dryer to dry off. After that,
we would put on a cap on each bottle so it can turn around on the machinery for painting.
Brian: so we are going on to next step. We have put the caps on as part of this process
so the bottles can turn. And now Mr. Lee is going to tell us about the third step.
Brian: so after that, we go to this part. You can see. Actually, we will give you a
shot of the bottle spinning over here, but some of this all hand-done work.
Brian: so previously, you saw they were spray painting the bottles. Now after the bottles
are spray painted. They came out on this conveyor belt and they are pulled off of the line and
are thrown into the dryer. Lee: they are put into the dryer again after
painting, and we would pick out the unqualified one.
Brian: After this step, we will see they come out from the back and thats where they
do another layer of QC, they pull the ones off, that dont meet the quality standards.
Brian: these are the bottles came out from the dryer. If you can see over here, actually
she is checking all of bottles of any of them dont meet the quality standards, and
are pulled out. Sometimes, they will go ahead clear these off and re-put them through process.
And then after they are passed QC and then they can be sold on.
Lee: after the process of painting, we have a strict QC to go through. We put the qualified
ones into warehouse while leaving the unqualified ones out.
Brian: they can do about 40,000 bottles per day so do the math on the capacity for the
entire year. Thats the only painting and drying of the bottles, does not include
the printing.
Brian: I wont show the brand here, but this is the typical bottle would come out.
You can see the bottle is transparent and increase the ingredient as it goes up. So
typically, this type of bottle they are doing about 40,000 per day.
Brian: the next step I will show you what they do with those bottles they actually dont
pass QC. They put them in an oven which then strips the paint off of them. And then they
can re-use them, put them through the process again.
Brian: we just talked about these didnt pass QC. What happens is they take these and
put into the oven which I can still feel the heat coming off it. They turn this machine
up to 500 Celsius that strips all of paints off and then they can go back through the
process again. So they are really looking to reduce the waste.
Brian: ok, so the difference between these two is the one on top, has not gone through
the tapping process, where the put the tap over it, so it gives a sort of silver look
to it. This is the station which they do that. So these get put in here. Later we will show
you what that looks like.
Brian: what protection do you have in case it gets destroyed?
Lee: firstly, it requires lots of attention. Our staff really are careful with the packages,
but they are not get destroyed easily due to the protection.
Brian: we are going to take a quick look at the packing here. So you can see how its
packed and everyone has its individual area so if something happens to the box, not all
of them will break. Brain: here is another packed box, this one
we actually have baggies around each one of the bottles, this protects the bottle and
makes sure there is no garbage get inside. This is actually for a customer in Korea.
Brian: what are they doing over here? Lee: they are stamping on the bottle with
the printed brand name
Brian: this is where they are printing and stamping I should say the brand name on top
of the bottle. This is a golden kind of film that gets stamped on top. Probably through
heat I would image. Is this hot? Brian: so, it basically burns the firm on
top of it. Ok, here is where we are doing the printing and actually you cant see
from the top because we dont want to show the brand. But this brand is printed on top.
Brian: there is where they actually take the photo of what its supposed to look like.
I wont show you in detail, but basically its the design of what its supposed
to be stamped on top of the bottle. And in a second, we will give you take quick look
at all these. They take this and then put into printing machine over here on the side.
The printing machine prints the brand on top of the bottles.
Brian: this part of process is basically taking the film and turning into the plates you just
saw back there. This is the machine they use to iron it onto the plate.
Brian: this is the last stage; we will have Mr. Lee explain what they are doing here.
Lee: after going through the previous steps, we come to here, where we do another around
QC to make sure we would pull out the unqualified ones.
After weve gone through all processes that include cleaning up the bottles put on
conveyer belt, painting the bottles and putting on the brands and doing final finishing of
the bottle. Then, it comes to this stage where they do another QC check and put the bags
on the bottles. This one there is a small problem on this one so they will take this
one out and go ahead re-do it. There are two small spots on the bottle. So for this one,
they are going to send back through
the process.
