Welcome to my "Neon Purple Tutorial". I will explain essential steps as caption here.
The video is pretty short and quick - I changed the software and didn't have the feeling for cutting, sorry.
I like the look because of the sharp violet crease. I wore this for a youtube meet&greet. YAY
This is one of my new favorite brushes. It's the "full coverage" brush by DIANNE BRILL and I will use it for a well blended crease here.
The benefits of the brush is the "hair cut" paired with quite dense bristles, so it keeps it's shape and softens the eyeshadow during the application.
I will apply the brown shadow with this brush so you will see how the handling and the results are.
Please don't hasitate to ask any questions in the comments - you also can find details on my blog. It's linked in the sidebar.
Start with an eyeshadow base of your choise and apply it onto the whole lid with your finger or a brush.
This time I start with the crease and with the application of a cool, plummy toned brown eyeshadow with the mentioned D. Brill brush.
There is a similar brush by bobbi brown. It's a bit smaller.
Apply the color into your crease in a shape that suites you the best. Also add it onto the outer third of your lid. Blend well.
Now I apply my favorite turquoise eyeshadow by BEN NYE with a fluffy but dense brush onto the middle of my lid. Dab it also some millimeters into the brown above.
Finally add a highlighter of your choise into the inner part and around the tear duct. I prefer a quite intense champagne shade.
And know repeat the application of the turquoise e/s to make it longer lasting and more intense.
With a pencil brush apply a super bright, matte, purple eyeshadow as a line in the crease. I chose the area where brown and teal meet each other.
Finally correct the shape of the brown eyeshadow so it will stand out a bit more.
I didn't apply any face procucts before so I can wipe off any fallout now.
Start your face routine now. I start with a concealer and so on...
When you finished with face powder you can repeat the colors on the lower lid. Start with a flat brush and the darkest shade in the outer corner.
Finish with the highlighter around the tear duct and apply each eyeshadow on the upper lid again for the best results.
Blend out harsh lines with a fluffy but pointy brush so you keep the precise shape but soften the edges.
I can't stand my matte black eyeshadow. This is optional: a tiny bit of it with a pencil brush into the very outer corner and blend it inwards.
Add a liner of your choice - I tool a black kajal.
So this is the finished look with mascara and a light mauve toned blush...
Also a tough of contouring and a light toned lipgloss on the lips...
I hope you enjoyed!
