Despite being banned, a small group tried to hold
a gay pride demonstration in Moscow on Sunday.
Police arrested around 40 people after clashes with anti-gay protestors
ended in violence.
The Ukraine is expected to bring in new anti-gay laws this week,
similar to those already in place in St Petersburg.
A human rights delegation from Europe is visiting the country
to try and stop the laws.
After two men were ejected from a shopping mall in Colombia,
for kissing in public, a court has ruled that their rights were violated.
The ruling effectively secures equal treatment for all gay people
in the country.
A federal court judge in California has ruled that the
Defense of Mariage Act passed in 1996, is unconstitutional.
Judge Claudia Wilken who is the third judge to declare the act discriminatory,
said it's 'anti gay' and 'devoid of any legitimate governmental purpose'.
And finally, The Food Network's Anne Burrell came out on Friday,
following a colleague mentioning that she had a girlfriend, during an interview.
Burrell's spokesperson said, 'Anne doesn’t feel she was outed.'
