Every city in Europe used to be bicycle-friendly, for decades and decades.
From the 1950s it all changed and it was just a singular focus on the automobile as the way forward.
So what we're seeing now is a return to this very simple thinking
that the streets are a democratic space for everyone who lives in a city.
And as we have seen in Copenhagen, and in The Netherlands and in many other places,
in Europe we're starting to put the bicycles back.
What we do is, we advise cities and governments around the world
on how to become more bicycle-friendly.
How to plan for cycling, with infrastructure and policy, strategies and whatnot.
Online presence is always important nowadays. So for us, it's broadcasting a philosophy
with its roots in Copenhagen, but also in a bigger picture, in Europe.
And if you look at how the bicycle's returning to the streets of our cities,
it's really Europe that is moving fast. Much faster than anywhere else in the world.
For us it's been a no-brainer to use that domain.
Cities, now, are hungry and desperate and enthusiastic about re-establishing the bicycle as transport.
Our company here, is now one of the main companies who can provide those consulting services
to cities around the world, in how to take the bicycle seriously as transport once again.
