Now let's add a little bit more texture to our land, and what we're going to do is we're
going to come down here, we're going to take our land layer here, and we're going to select
it. We're going to bring it down here, and we're just going to copy it, oop, Cancel.
That's not exactly what I wanted to do. Of course, it's thinking about it because I made
a mistake; there we go. So we click this, bring it down here, and we'll just Copy it
like so. Let's bring our land back up, but put it between our water and our clouds, and
let's bring our land copy up. Hit Cancel, and let's bring it up, and move it right between
this there, like so. Now what we're going to do is we're going to click on, now that
it's selected, let's click an add a layer mass to this. There we go, we got it like
so. Now let's say, let's let's render some clouds on this. Type, Render, Clouds, there
we go, and that's our layer mass there. We've got clouds rendered on it like so. Now let's
hit the brightness and contrast to this. Let's go to Image, Adjustments, Brightness/Contrast,
hoo ha, and let's do let's leave our brightness at zero, and let's just beef up our contrast
on that just a bit on our land copy. There we go like so, and now let's let's colorize
this a little bit. Let's go to Image, Adjustments; oops, Image, Adjustments, let's go to oops;
can't rightly do that here. We got to click on the land copy; there we go. Now let's go
to Image; Adjustments, let's do Hue and Saturation like so. Now we can just key this in real
quick. Let's see, let's put in let's turn it on Colorize, yes, and let's see; we do
a hue of one thirty nine, see, tab, Saturation of forty, and Lightness at zero. There we
go, hit OK. And there we go, as you can see, we've added a little bit of green to the brown
that we already had on our land, so let's stop here, and we'll pick it up on the next
part.
