Hello, Ashley Young, PGA Professional here at GlobalGolf.com.
Cobra Baffler fairway woods have always been known as an extremely versatile club
that are easy to play from multiple lies, especially out of the rough.
The new Baffler features some of these same characteristics, but Cobra has
upgraded the overall look and feel of this club. Let's take a closer look.
At address, you can see the Baffler has two yellow lines positioned on the crown.
These lines are not just cosmetic; they will help aid you during your pre-shot
routine with alignment.
We've been seeing other manufactures add graphics to their woods; some may be more
distracting than others--I think these are tastefully done.
On the sole, you'll see what has made the Baffler such a popular club over the
years--its signature rails.
Cobra has actually integrated tungsten into these rails this year
that helps lower the center of gravity providing a club that's easy to get
airborne.
The rails on the Baffler provide a better interaction with the turf, no matter what lie
you have.
The Baffler also features a high-strength, lightweight face
that allows Cobra another avenue to move the center of gravity low and back in
the club.
All these features make the Baffler an easy club to get up in the air.
The baffler will be offered in four lofts ranging from 13 degrees to 20 degrees
and features a Graphite Designed Tour AD shaft.
