Alright folks, in this clip we're going to talk about some of the different classes that
you can take if you want to become an artist. What classes you should take largely depends
on what type of artist you would like to become. If you'd like to become a cartoonist you should
definitely spend a lot of time in classes that deal with the different shapes, designs,
techniques that apply to basic level animation and cartooning. If you'd like to become more
of a graphic novel artist, which is within the cartoon world obviously, but takes kind
of a step further and is more sort of a established raw, bit of a more realistic sort of a visual
medium, I would recommend reading a lot of comic books. I'd recommend finding different
classes that teach this particular style of animation. They're not quite as readily available
as just basic cartoon classes are. You can find most of these in any one of your community
colleges. It's a little bit trickier to find a school that teaches that type of graphic
novel design, but they are out there if you're willing to spend the bucks and you know, maybe
travel to a new location, like say New York or Los Angeles or anywhere. If you want to
become a, get established in the world of fashion when it comes to different designs
and different types of fashion expression that way, you can go to places like New York
and Paris. They have many many many many available courses for people who want to get in to this
type of art. If you want to become a painter or just in that area alone of different styles
of painting, there are numerous numerous numerous paths you could follow. What I would recommend
is doing some research on the type of art that you particularly enjoy and feel the most
motivated to create. And find out who some of your favorite artists are and find out
maybe where they studied their craft and see if those particular avenues are still available.
Basically, first establish what type of artist you'd like to be. And then go searching for
the classes that you need to help you progress to become that artist.
