Hello, I'm Bruce Marshall, fashion designer and Emmy award nominated costume designer,
here today to show you an example of how it feels to dress for a rave. That's right, a
rave party. Now, you know that a rave party is one that pretty much starts late, and it
goes even later. So basically, you want to be prepared for whatever is going down. So
basically, it's going to be a nighttime affair, so you know it gets cool, so sometimes you
want to have a little something to warm it up a bit. Also, you know you got to have a
signature t-shirt that says something maybe a little rebellious, but just to show a little
bit of who you are. And basically, when you're at a rave, pretty much clothes aren't the
most important thing on people's mind, but you basically want to make sure that you stand
out in case your friends need to find you later. At least they might remember if you
have something signature on -- that, you know, pop. That's what they remember, and they can
find you, maybe on the floor. But you never know because it is a rave, and it's still
about being comfortable and having a good time, but it's pretty much young and modern
with a lot of trends, so go ahead, put it on, go out, party all night long. Now, remember,
it's a rave, which means it's a party where you're planning on having a whole lot of fun.
But before you drop out, you want to make sure that you're all together and comfortable
fabrics that breathe and all of the nine yards because, trust me, you're going to sweat a
lot, you're going to work it out, you're going to be hot, you're going to be cold, you're
gong to go through a whole lot of emotions for that evening, and you want to be prepared
and be dressed for it.
