I am the hunter
This was the hobby he used to enjoy doing after he finishes the distribution of water to the houses in the neighborhood
"Zakaria Khaleel Faheem" used to capture doves - to rear them - as a hobby
and a dove was the last thing he saw before he died
On the other hand "Ali Khalil Al-Zein", he used to drive his bike to work and at the end his bike killed him
Two Lebanese young men from the town of "Al-Bastah". Each one of them was killed in a different accident.
However some magazines and news agencies claimed days after their death that they were among a group sent by Hezbollah to fight with the Syrian government against the opposition, and they were killed in the fight.
In these media reports they mentioned that one of the killed is from "Al-Zein" family, while the other is from "Al-Khalil" family. The first one is "Ali Kahlil Al-Zein" who was killed in bike crash, and the second is "Zakaria Faheem", but the media hurried to publish the news before the name of his family was corrected.
The coroner switched the father and the family names when he wrote his report
Al-Jadeed TV got the coroner's report. The report confirms the mistake that happened.
Khaleel Faheem (Father of Zakaria): On Sunday 11.March, just a few days after my son passed away, many elders of the neighborhood called me
They said that Al-Arabiya TV broadcast some news about my son; they claimed that he fell in the clashes against the so-called "Free Syrian Army"
but this is not true. The day he passed away was a holiday (Sunday), and there were rallies in the city. He and his friends went up on the roof to watch and feed the doves.
The building is old and the electricity was cut off. There were also snow on the roof; a few days before that a snow storm hit the region.
He fell from the stairwell. The coroner confirmed in his report that my son fell from a height of seven floors
He broke his spine, which led to his death.
It is a shame what some media agencies are doing. They incite people and manipulate their feelings. I will not sue them, but I want to say to them: fear the God, and respect the feelings and sadness of people.
Al-Jadeed reporter: Ali, the eighteen years old young man, visited Syrian only once in his short life, as his father tells us.
Ali's Father: My son passed away as he was coming back from work between 10 and 10:30. A car hit his bike
They notified us about 11:30. He was moved the the government hospital (Rafik Hariri's hospital). We went there and saw him, his body was broken.
Al-Jadeed correspondent: How did you get the news that he was in Syria?
The father: From the internet. I always expected my son to die as a martyr in south Lebanon, not like this in a bike crash. The news that he was killed in Syria are not true. I will not say any more.
My son died in the hospital, he was not in Syria. He only visited Syria once in his life, as a pilgrim when he visited the shrine of "Sayeda Zainab" " peace be upon her".
The correspondent: But some people claimed that he disappeared for a while, and you didn't know where he was, then suddenly you received the news of his death?
The Father: This is absolutely not true. He didn't disappear. Just go and ask the neighbors, they all know.
My son had two jobs. From 07.00 AM until 10.00 PM in "Al-Ameer" co-operative.
Al-Jadeed reporter: The case of "Ali" and "Zakaria" raises many questions about the credibility of the Arab media nowadays
and how this media tries to exploit normal and unrelated events to serve specific political agenda
