What are your making? Arati Doota Ava Kura (Plantain Stem Curry)
Ingredients required to make Arati Doota Ava Kura
Plantain Stem, Mustard Seeds, Dry Red Chillies, Tamarind Juice, Bengal Gram, Groundnuts, Cashews, Green Chillies, Sesame Seeds, Curry Leaves, Coriander, Turmeric, Salt, Oil
Take a pan and light up the stove
Cut the plantain stem in a circular shape and then chop them finely
Take the chopped plantain stem pieces and boil them in water with turmeric for 2 mins
Heat some oil in the pan
Add some bengal gram, white lentils and some mustard seeds
Add some groundnuts
Add some cashews
Add some chopped green chillies & ginger
Add some salt for taste
Add some tamarind juice
Take some mustard seeds, green chillies a little water and grind them into a paste
Keep the mustard & green chilli paste aside
Now, add the chopped plantain stem pieces
Grind some dry roasted sesame seeds into a powder. Add this powder into the pan
Add some curry leaves
Add 2 spoons of the mustard seeds paste
Mix well
Once cooked take it into a serving bowl
