AT&T and Disney have teamed up to offer both our guests
as well as our cast members with an improved experience
and ability to be able to take advantage of technologies here
at the Walt Disney World Resort as well as back at Disneyland Resort.
I’ve been using my smartphone, mostly for getting around the park.
We downloaded the Disney App on our smartphones
and we used it to check wait times and also to find restaurants.
Our goal at all Disney parks and resorts
is to provide the best possible guest experience.
One of those expectations is obviously wireless connectivity,
and we worked very hard with AT&T
to make sure that those expectations were met.
We’ve deployed over 26 distributed antenna systems, both indoor
and outdoor, as well as deployed over 100 small cell repeaters.
So what AT&T customers and Disney cast members
are going to see with all the improvements that we have made
is really better coverage throughout the resort.
You’re going to see more reliability
and then you’re going to see very fast data speeds.
My smartphone has been very fast, the service, it comes on right away
and it’s able to download everything very quickly.
My experience with my smartphone is very fast, very cool.
The Walt Disney World Resort and Disneyland Resort
offer very immersive experiences, we put you in to the story.
The availability for technology to take the experiences
and the moments that we create and be able to extend that,
send it to their friends immediately,
and immerse them in the same experience at the same time,
it’s really a completely new generation.
