We went to Redmond to visit Microsoft, one of the greatest in the world of computing.
The awesome Mount Rainier, an active volcano, 80 km of Seattle, near Tacoma, WA
in Redmond, Microsoft has many buildings, these are just some examples. It's a very nice area.
We're back from Redmond and went to Seattle Center to take the elevated train to go downtown.
The Science Fiction Museum, with its coverage of colored titanium is really beautiful!
The elevated train runs in a short distance inside the Science Fiction Museum.
We're in downtown, beautiful old buildings blend harmoniously with modern buildings.
Very friendly and prepared staff to help tourists about what they need, giving them maps, etc
Very interesting that the streets are made with the same materials as the sidewalk in the area!
The Bridge at the bottom of the street is covered with a glass ceiling, as far as we see at the distance
The first recommended place to visit in Seattle's Benaroya Hall, home of the Seattle Symphony
A beautiful and original decoration at Benaroya Hall, a work of imagination and great patience!
We are returning in the elevated train, the two towers are the Westin Hotel, similar to that of Los Angeles
The driver of the train with just a computer and a joystick to drive, I'm sitting on her side.
The route is only about 20-25 blocks. Final destination is the Seattle Center.
Now we are crossing the field of Science Fiction Museum, where the train enters to Seattle Center.
Way to the Hotel, we pass the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, scheduled to open next.
We visited the Woodland Park Zoo in Seattle. Here we see a 2 meters long Komodo Dragon!
Zoo's big event, the recent arrival of the Meerkats, they uses 6 hours per day to feed from ants, scorpions
We felt that the Zoo does not keep elephants in good shape, we saw them weak and in poor condition
