JOHN CARSTARPHEN: Hi, this is John Carstarphen for Expert Village. And because we've added
some textures to the surface, the rendering takes just a little bit longer. But now of
course we don't see anything because we have our light outside of the room pointing into
the room. Normally this wouldn't have an influence on the scene because even if you had your
light outside the geometry of the scene it would still illuminate portions of the scene
but with radiosity you really need to have that light in the room so that it actually
bounces off the surface. So we're going to move it back into the room just below the
surface of the ceiling and then we'll render this again. Okay so let's make a couple of adjustments
here. First of all we will reduce the illumination of the light and--actually what we'll do is
convert this back to and on the light.
And we will copy that light and we'll reduce the resolution of this second light even further
but we're going to take the shadow off this second light.
