Greendale is one of three “Greenbelt” communities in the country, and provides easy access to homes, parks, employment and a town center.
Greendale is a village community in Milwaukee County.
Greendale was developed as part of Franklin Roosevelt’s New Deal.
Greendale was built in 1936 in the wake of the Great Depression.
The original downtown area included the Village Hall, businesses, and 366 homes.
These quaint homes are now called “Greendale Originals.”
Today, Greendale is home to a charming Downtown area with shops, like the Reiman Center...
