Hey YouTubers I'm back and this time I'm talking about
night lights!
This is a night light made by GreenLite and I thought it was pretty neat because it's actually a
LED
night light
that's only supposed to cost twenty cents a year to run
according to the box here
the LED night light only uses twenty cents worth of energy cost per year when used
on average of ten hours per day
and down here
it says the LED bulb included with this product lasts up to a hundred
thousand hours
or 100 times longer than a regular bulb
LED bulbs consume less energy and cost pennies a year to operate which
translates into a significant savings. They run at lower temperatures and are
an extremely safe cool to the touch lighting source.
The other side is in French.
Save the Earth and a few books too
last one hundred
thousand hours
Energy savings automatic sensor night light
So one this model the sensor is right in front, which seems to be
pretty common with most of them
And I figured I would hook it up to the Kill-A-Watt meter
What's the point of having one if you don't play with it?
According to the kil-a-watt meter... if we cover it...
it clicks on
It's using .4 watts of
power
And it seems to be staying there
drops down to zero
double-check make sure
turn off the light here
and it is holding at
.4 watts of power
and maintaining
And that gives you an idea of the brightness.
So I thought that was pretty neat.
Figured I'd give that a shot, play around with that.
So that's the video. Thanks for watching!
