Okay so, there a definitely two different types of wax, but there’s a lot of different
waxes so, for instance, if we just want to break it into two categories we break into
the application of the wax. So, there’s a strip and a stripless wax. The strip wax
has a muslin strip and what that is, you basically put the wax on the skin, then you take the
muslin strip, you push it down tight to the skin, make sure the skin’s taut , and you
pull it off in the opposite direction. The stripless wax is just like what you’re saying;
usually it’s more of a taffy like and it’s a little bit thicker, use a little bit more
of this and you put it on the skin and then make a little lip on the end so you have something
to pull off and once again you stay close to the skin. A lotta times the stripless wax
is used for more of the sensitive areas, whether it be the lip, the face, different areas of
the bikini, the breast area. So, that’s what you should be looking for especially
when you go to a spa, make sure that they’re utilizing at least two different types. Now
the wax itself, that’s a whole nother thing, there’s different types of waxes. What’s
the best, obviously, I think the Completely Bare wax is the best because it has the right
amount of resin in there, it shrink wraps around the hair follicles, you don’t have
to wait for it to grow out as much. Bbut there’s a lot different formulas out there on waxes,
so it’s really up to you make the final decision on what you like.
