Are we recording or not?
I’m Bruno Fraysse, from Sant Feliu de Guíxols,
a coastal town in the north of Catalunya.
I’m 37, and it was love that brought me to Berlin,
but after I’d been here for 4 months the relationship ended
and I didn’t want to return to Spain.
Bit by bit, I managed to save up enough
to open this place, the Gastón Tapas Bar.
When I came to Berlin, for the first four months
we spent most of our time walking around the city.
I have been doing that in Berlin for several years now.
Just the centre,
that whole area, before you know it,
you’ve walked 10 km.
I’m really into just walking around the city. No, really!
The Spreepark is a derelict funfair
with urban legends and all that stuff.
Suddenly you find yourself in this gigantic funfair.
It’s all falling apart
and it doesn’t mesh with the way they do things here,
maybe that’s why it’s a very special place for me.
