Hi! My name is Dawn Shannon, owner of Intuition Salon & Spa. I am also a hairstylist and you
can visit us on the web at www.intuitionsalonandspa.com And I am going to demonstrate how to use combs
on shorter hair. To start with, we are going to use a real small comb and I am going to
show you the different things you can do with that. You can place it in the side. This is
really nice because it catches all the little short hairs and you just push it in like that.
With a small comb, you can also leave the bangs. This is also nice if someone wants
to grow their bangs out, you can put it in here. Combs are something that is coming back
in style again too. Now I am going to use these two combs which are really good if you
want to do day or if you are going to a wedding or you are going be in a wedding or it going
to be dressy. We are going to place them in the side and same thing as you just very gently
push it in; try not to get any little short hairs. We are also going to do the other side
and the same thing. Just pull the hair back, make sure it is smooth, anchor the hair and
push it in; that is a very dressy look. So now we are going to use these combs and we
are going to give her hair a little bit more lift in the sides and you just pull it back,
pull the hair up, place the comb where you want it, push it in and that is that side.
And then we are going to do the other side and we are going to lift it up a little bit
more. You want to keep this part flat but pull it back and same thing, you want to put
it where you want it. And that is it for short hair with combs.
