Hi, my name is Randy Bezet
I pastor Bayside community church in Sarasota, Florida.
This is my first time to Israel.
It's been an amazing trip so far, for many, many reasons.
Obviously, the faith, and the foundation of our faith,
goes back to these very areas that I've been standing.
I was just at the wailing wall here,
seeing how the jews are praying and seeking God's presence.
What a great testimony to us as Americans.
seeking the presence of God,
walking on the very places that we know our forefathers, and even Jesus, walked.
I think for me, the most defining moment, really,
was when we were up in the upper Galilee, in Tel-Dan,
and we were at the spring head of the spring of Dan.
and as that water was coming out of there
and thinking about Jesus and being in a living water,
and as we drink out of that I had a real God moment there,
knowing that his presence really fills me.
And it's really from this upper part of Galilee
where that spring fills, actually, this whole nation,
runs into the Jordan and then it actually provides
water for this entire nation. I thought, as a pastor as well,
how important it is for me, and even as a believer,
to be a spring head of God's presence in my country.
For my church, in bringing people here,
I can't wait to organize a trip
and bring other people back with me.
I got baptized in the Jordan river.
I can't imagine of a greater thing to do
then have a moment like that with the people that I pastor,
baptizing them in the Jordan river forever will mark my life.
If you haven't been or even if you have been,
I just recommend you come again for many many reasons.
This is the way, as Christians, we can be a part
of supporting the nation of Israel
and just being here, having a spriritual experience
with your people that you pastor as well if you're a believer there in America
to come as well and experience this.
It's life changing. It's almost somthing you can't tell about,
you have to come and experience it.
