hey guys there was something that I wanted to share with you guys I've been
wanting to share with you guys for a couple of months if you guys are
starting a new channel or if you have started a new channel there's one big
rule of thumb to consider when making videos and also I'm not getting yourself
jammed up here on YouTube and that is not making click bait videos YouTube is
a stickler for people who make youtube videos who do clickbait videos similar
to like PewDiePie he'll put like for an example one word in the description and
then a thumbnail that has nothing to do with the video people watch his videos
YouTube knows that so he's not really an example of someone who does click videos
that are going to get in trouble for doing those kind of videos they're not
gonna probably get taken down but if I was to do a video and I just put a word
or two or three words and then I put a thumbnail that has nothing to do with my
video you can potentially get your video taken down and also your channel it's
not worth your channel to make clickbait videos it's really important that you
optimize your video and what I mean by that also PewDiePie says this in his
video even though he does not follow his own rules which he knows he doesn't have
to because he has 57 million subscribers and everyone knows who he is so whatever he
uploads he's already has page Authority people
already know who he is and they're gonna watch his video at this point regardless
of what he puts up but with all that being said he says it starts at 9
minutes and 47 seconds into the video well the end of the video that is very
important to optimize your video and he means when he says this in the video
your description tells the story of what the viewer is going to watch in that
video so that's why YouTube has that title there so you can maximize a
hundred words out tell much as you can of the story of what's going on in that
video so that people before they click on the video have an idea of what's
going on thumbnail is crucial as well title and thumbnail are important
description is very important because it also helps with the title as well as a
thumbnail to also better describe what's going on in the video so people can
decide for themselves they're gonna stay on the video if they you know whatever
it just tells the story of the video they can as they even looking at the
video look down at the description and see what the video is talking about in
it then they can make a decision for themselves right there if they're gonna
stay on the whole say 20 minutes of a video if the video is 20 minutes upload
if they're gonna stay on that video for
20 minutes so I'm telling you right now guys it's really not worth doing
clickbait because the reason why I'm saying this YouTube has a very
sophisticated robot who when they start to see that someone clicks onto a video
and then they right after they click on they click off they go to that video and
they see why is people going to the video and then they click it off they're
wondering why they're doing that is this is what the system is built to figure
out what is wrong with this video that people are triggering to go the other
way like run from this video if they start to see that you have misleading
tags in your tag section excuse me if they see that you have misleading
description or title thumbnail your video can be taken down it's not
worth it I cannot say it enough in this video and again I'm gonna say to you
guys always look into my description because I always have relative search
terms of other videos to watch the videos might also be of a different
nature it doesn't have to be the same type of video you watch of my video but
there'll be a list of relative search terms for you guys so copy and paste put
into youtube search of other videos that might not even be like my video it might
have the same similar search term but that does not mean that it's going to be
the same kind of video but there could be people that you would never otherwise
discover that you may sit and look at a few of their videos and enjoy them and
subscribe to their channel so that's why that's the other search term so I always
look at the search terms I might have a shout out I might have a channel that
I'm recommending that you subscribe to I might have a video that I'm talking
about someone a but you know someone in that video in my video I mean and I
might have their video link because I might not want to show the video while
I'm discussing about whatever I'm discussing about with that video because
copyright issues or just not appropriate and I just choose to redirect you to the
video after I you know say my commentary or my review on that video or so on and
so on and so on so with all that being said like I was saying before please
maximize all the usage of people finding your video and make sure that your title
is saying what's going on in the video and not the opposite of what it's saying
in the video make sure your thumbnail matches up to what's going on in the
video and also when you write a description make sure it's about that
video giving people an idea what they're watching and letting them make the
decision on their own if they're going to stay and I'm getting really
tongue-tied to the end of the video don't lead people on because in the long
run all you're gonna have is somebody
abandoning your video and you don't want that to happen you want people to stay
on your video enjoy your content and hopefully stay and subscribe to your
channel and be someone who is a faithful viewer of your content and also I have a
lot of mobile united kingdom netherlands traffic canada of course united states
but you know you guys when you watch my video subscribe if you're watching a
video obviously you like my content subscribe to the channel i make daily
uploads every day seven days a week and if i don't I have enough content for you
to watch until I do I'm never gonna let a week drag on without making the video
unless something happen in my personal life and that's why I wasn't able to
make a video because I do believe that you have to be dedicated to your channel
in order for it to grow and when you're dedicated to your channel and you do
daily uploads you don't have to make clickbait videos because views are gonna
come and I always say views rather than subscribers because when you start
getting the views subscribers hand in hand are gonna come regardless that's
going to happen once you get the views but you have to get your page
Authority up their page Authority is everything so that's why views come
first once you get the views then the subscribers out of thin air
are just gonna come out of nowhere you're gonna have one day you'll wake up
and you'll have about 2,000 subscribers in one day well 500 subscribers in one
day and then you'll find every day on average you might have a hundred to a
thousand or fifty or five or 10 or 15 whatever subscribers per day once you
get the views up once you get the page Authority PageRank so with all that
being said please subscribe share and like this video I'm making a favorite
and always remember to look in my description for my relative search
and other videos to watch copy and paste those relative search terms put them in
YouTube's search engine and view content for years to come bye for now guys
