Today, we will prepare Kari Patta Chutney.
This Chutney is very tasty and can be eaten with Idli, Dosa or Pakoras.
Let us see what are ingredients we require to prepare Kari Patta chutney.
Washed and dried Kari Patta.
Grated coconut - ¼ cup
Oil - ¼ tbsp
Green chilli - 2 to 3
Red chilli - 2
Tamarind pulp - 2 tbsp
Jaggery - 1 tbsp
Channa Dal - 2 tsp
Urad Dal - 2 tsp
Rye - ½ tsp
Zeera (Cumin) - ½ cup
Heeng - 2 pinch
Salt - according to the taste
Heat the pan and take 1 tsp oil in it.
Add Rye and Zeera once oil is heated.
Roast rye and zeera in the oil.
Now, add Channa Dal and Urad Dal in it.
Roast these by stirring them constantly till these turn light brown.
This should be done in mid-flame.
Add red chilli pod and Heeng in it.
Roast it once again.
Take out these pulses in a separate bowl.
Now, take the rest of the oil.
Fry the Kari leaves in oil once the oil is heated.
Fry the leaves for 2 minutes by constantly stirring it.
Now, add grated coconut in it.
Also, add green chilli in it.
These leaves are now fried.
Put them in mixer to grind it.
Also add the roasted spices in it.

Grind it finely now.
The mouth-watering Kari Patta chutney is now ready.
It can be served with Idli, Dosa, Bada or Pakoras.
