Hey everyone welcome to another PC99 Swimming Review
Today we're going to be going over the Arena Swedix Mirror Racing Goggles
We have reviews on goggles, caps,
all kinds of suits, and much more
PC99 Swimming Reviews
These goggles are very similar to the non-mirrored version, except have a few features that makes them far superior
So these goggles usually come in a box just like this. It has the red and yellow version on the front
Although I have the black version, which I'm about to show you
They usually have some plastic in there, just take it out
They don't come with a case for some reason, just general information stuff
They also come with these little pamphlets, it says adult goggles
It just tells you about maintenance and stuff
This one is the instructions
How to change the nose piece
Things like that. Just basic care guides
And how to setup the straps and what not in the back here
So let's get to the goggles themselves
So I've had these goggles for about a week now, and they have not ceased to surprise me
Compared to the non-mirrored version, they haven't fogged up at all
They haven't gotten scratched up, and their general performance is a lot better
When you get these goggles they come with this elastic nose piece which I've actually been sticking with so far because it's been doing a really good job
You can also use string or this little rubber thing it comes with
These work just as well and sometimes a little better
The more you wear these underwater, the more this is going to slightly stretch out
so sometimes you need to adjust that in the middle of practice, or meet, whatever you're at
But other than that, these goggles are almost exactly the same as the non-mirrored version
The only difference I would say is the anti fog on the inside is a lot nicer quality
I've gotten these drenched (wet) in water maybe once or twice already and so far the anti fog is still holding up
I'm getting a slight amount of fog when I keep them on my forehead, but that's to be expected from any type of goggle
So here's a side by side comparison of the same side of the non-mirrored and the mirrored
You can see my non-mirrored on the right is a little bit more messy and scratched up
But they're pretty much the same
They've got the same slit in the middle, the same lens design, and the same padding on this side
One thing a lot of people worry about with mirroed goggles is that they're going to have trouble seeing inside
These are mirrored enough that they'll work good outside, and enough that they will work fine inside too
If you can kind of see through the haze of the dust that's in there, you can see that it's not a whole lot of a difference in darkness
It's pretty good
In comparison to the other *review where I stuck it underwater, it's exactly the same
I'm just using the footage from it because there is no difference
The slit in the middle only takes effect when you're underwater and when there's an air bubble in the lens, not above water
These goggles are great because even with my razor burnt and zit face I still look sexy
The front profile looks like this, they fit really well on the face
And when you look at the side, they fit the eye sockets really well
Even if you're an asian or whatever country you're from, they usually fit pretty well
I would highly recommend these goggles and actually recommend them above the non-mirrored version
I think they run for about 21 US Dollars, so that's not too bad for these kind of goggles
It's about 3 dollars more than the non-mirrored version, and it's definitely worth the price
So thank you guys for watching, and we'll see you next time!
