In this section I'm going to talk about the quick wax techniques. If you don't have time
to stop by your shop and get hot wax, you can go to the shop and just pick up some quick
wax things--like they have a roll on style, which you just roll it across and buff off
it with the little pad included. There's also spray on. You're just going to take it and
spray it over the whole board, and you're pretty much done with that. Then you've got
the gel kind which you're going to put on a little pad of some kind, and just rub it
all over the place. This is the same general idea, it's going to make your board slide
better on the snow, but it's just, if you don't have time, hot wax is definitely better
because it can fill in some of your scrapes and moistens up your base a little bit better.
This is pretty much like a rub on style wax. Then you have your spray on, which you just
pretty much spray over the base. Then you have another kind of gel rub on wax which
you buff onto it with a little pad.
