No denying, i do have concerns in terms of safety.
Well, running around without any safety equipments and all. Landing on whichever surfaces.
I'll just say be careful, cautious and alert, but things do happen.
I get a picture of these traceurs from Abdullah(brother). I call him Abdullah at home.
Coming home limping at times, cuts on his legs. All those things are expected from my own husband later.
Were you around to see him (brother) when he got the bad cut of his head?
No, I just saw his picture.
One thing about guys is that, they are proud of their injuries! I don't get that.
To him it's 'tough'.
I respect their decisions. For me, to them it's ok as long as they can live healthily like this and they're happy and satisfied with their activity.
Farid Isham's father.
At the start, did he inform you that he did Parkour?
Yes, he did inform me, but at that time, I was negative about it.
I have trained on the trampoline, vaults, (gymnastics) etc, all this I have done but i've never done anything resembling this (Parkour).
Hearing him explain then, I said "This is dangerous! What kind of game is this!".
But, now, no more because I see that this activity has become more common in society.
There are a number of youth activities organized in this manner.
So far, has 'Cat' told you of any body aches, knee pain, or falls?
Yes, there was this one time he told me he fell. But I was not surprised.
Because when we are involved in such activities, even if we have taken the safety precautions, misfortunes do happen sometimes.
Even in football, we could sprain our ankle, injure our knees.
I played rugby in the past, had a head to head collision with another player.
Next thing I knew, I was in the hospital ward.
Ok, you can go on, but just be careful because to me this activity does appear dangerous.
I'd like to contribute to the good name of our country. To lift it up on the world stage.
Reppin Malaysia bro! Jyeah!
Train safe, don't lose focus.
"Se' kito belako (Kelantanese Meme)" We are family.
To those out there, train safely, master the basics first.
Don't be rash and foolish. Think of the future when contemplating a move.
