My job is to support science and support the scientists
in their efforts to advance science. And so broadly
I work in the Office of Planning and Analysis and Evaluation for a Program Analyst.
You don't necessarily have to have a scientific background, but
a background in health is helpful as well
as someone with a strong analytical
background. You are going to be sitting in front of a
computer screen crunching data, but also
a very broad perspective in
looking at the context in which that data fits.
Someone who would be successful in this position is someone
who is organized. There is a lot of moving parts. It's a good type of challenge
where
you are going to be managing
a lot of balls in the air,
but at the same time you'll be richly
rewarded at the end of
this project.
