Hey Everyone Jonathan Decker here with 8020Guy.com . I just wanted to show you real quick and
essential tip especially if you want to stop those spammy e-mails in Gmail or they may
not even be spam e-mails they might be e-mails that you may have signed up for, but regretfully
subscribed to. Don't want them near your inbox anymore on just to save time I kind of already
have one in mind that I know that I want to eliminate which is "pinterest weekly", I want
to find that first of all and this is an example "pinterest weekly" now the easiest way that
I found to use this feature by creating a filter is I want to "Copy" "Paste" where the
e-mails coming from. Which you can do by "copy" "pasting" this section right here and then
I'm going to head over to "settings", then head over to "filters" you can see I already
have a few created right here and then I'm going to go to "create a filter" and it's
going to be from the copy paste the e-mail and then you click this link right here. create
filter with the search then I'll have it skip the inbox that way you don't see it as notification
, I'm going to "Mark It As Read". I won't delete it does have in archives just in case
I wanted to be the future but if you don't want to the e-mail at all you do is click
the delete option. you know you can always have the e-mail to keep around never send
it to spam. On this one never mark is as important and then there was really any feature in Gmail
is you actually apply a filter for the remaining e-mails that look the same. So I go to "create
filter" now I won't get those annoying Pinterest e-mails in my inbox anymore. If you really
want to, let's say those e-mails you have them over across a couple different e-mail
accounts you can actually select all of the check boxes on the left and export them, you
can also see the other option "import". You can actually import that into any Gmail account
you like. Just wanted to show you this real quick is a very simple very effective way
to live the 80/20 Rule in your life by saving time from the annoying e-mails and focusing
on what matters most which is the e-mails that you actually want to get. Thanks for
listening and you get a chance you can go to http://www.8020Guy.com, i'll have more
resources on there in the upcoming months and weeks and let me know what you think thanks.
