No matter what we decide to do
with the time we have, you will always be spending your energy
with this purpose you choose
for yourself. Choosing to detox
and de-clutter my life
has been one
of the most amazing decisions I've made
in a long time.
It is definitely liberating
and
it has a very effective level of transformation,
not only in my physical body
and my emotions, but I feel like this process
of detoxing through food - raw foods, living foods -
and de-cluttering my environment,
getting rid of things that are taking space
and don't have importance anymore
in my life, all this
is changing who I am in so many areas,
in everything, in everything I am, every
area of my life. This week
I finished separating everything (it feels great!),
but by the end of the week
I felt extremely tired.
extremely tired. Not only because
I finished sorting everything my environment,
I've been facing decisions I have to to make
I've been facing conversations and things that I have to
to think about and
plan and decide...
because detox and de-clutter
is about growing, it is also
not very easy sometimes.
When you decide that you will detox your life,
that you will start treating your body like a temple
and you will only use it
for things that are true and
eat foods that nourish you and
keep you healthy and vibrant and radiant...
When you choose to do things that only
help you grow spiritually,
emotionally... Everything you do you will also make you tired.
The most important thing during the process of detox
and de-cluttering is to understand that it is very
liberating and amazing but
it also requires a lot of your energy,
your mental energy and physical energy.
I definitely felt tired by the end of the week,
extremely tired I didn't want to you do anything anymore.
when those moments come that's when you have to be
alert, because physical tiredness,
emotional tiredness, mental tiredness...
they can affect your relationships, they can affect your diet,
they can affect your performance at work,
they can affect everything. And if we don't pay attention to
how we are treating our bodies,
using our times and maybe over working
our times we can start failing in other areas of
our lives. Right after I received a phone call
and I had to make some plans
and decide some things I got really
anxious and a bit stressed so we went to the park and walked
a little bit on the grass. I took off my shoes
and started to walk barefoot on the grass
feeling the ground on my feet
and feeling the calmness of nature
on my feet... That was very grounding.
We decided to lay down on the grass
and just watch the sky and the clouds
pass and see how
life moves and it's just the way
things are: things are always moving,
transforming and changing. Our lives
are the same. All we have now
is now. And this is going to be gone soon.
And then we are going to have a new experience.
And every second, every minute and every hour
we are living this cycle and it's beautiful:
it means
renovation, it means growing,
it means don't be attached just enjoy
he moment you have. For me it was really
healing to walk barefoot on the grass and
feel grounded again and remember that
all we have is this moment
now: the past is gone, the future doesn't belong to you
yet, all we have is this moment.
I slept many hours after that
and I definitely feel good now.
When you feel like you are getting out of control you are
over passing your limits,
remember that it is very important to sleep.
Maybe if you have difficulties to fall sleep, if you need
to calm down, you can always practice breathing exercises,
very light yoga poses that you can do before or
even when you are already in bed. You can drink some camomile tea.
Personally I very much like
liquorice root tea, I've been drinking
liquorice root tea since I was facing symptoms of adrenal fatigue
and I've been taking care of myself avoiding coffee.
If you are feeling tired, you notice that you are
getting grumpy and maybe negative
or you are feeling depressed and you don't know the reason and you start to binge...
If you have a big decision to make,
if you have to start planning for something that is going to happen,
if you don't know what to do next,
if things are changing too fast and you are not getting a hold of
all this changing and transformation that is happening in your life,
if detox is becoming too hard,
bringing stuff out and you can't control it...
Remember to rest. Remember that you are not a machine.
You are a human being.
Your life is sacred. You need to respect your rhythms.
We need to respect
our humanity and that is very divine.
There is something very divine about respecting
our humanity. And when you are
grounded and you can have peaceful thoughts
things become much easier.
life becomes much easier.
So I hope this week will be a week of peace
and ease and health
and clarity for you.
