Hi, my name is Mary Thinnes. I am a skin care expert. Now I will be discussing weekly treatments
with you as far as home care goes. Weekly treatments I had mentioned before that masks
are done on a weekly basis. I will go into more detail on another step with that. As
far as enzymes. As far as exfoliating scrubs go, I had mentioned before, you can do that
twice a week. No more than twice a week. Its not something you should do on a daily basis.
Its too aggressive for the skin. Actually with exfoliating scrubs what happens is, it
actually is a little bit more abrasive. So it has a little bit of the beads that you
feel, the little, like a scrub. So you are going to feel a little bit of that. And actually
I just put a little bit of one on my hand. And I am going to show you that it actually
helps to remove the dead skin cells. And as you see, there?s little beads in exfoliating
scrubs. But you can also see why you wouldn't want to do this more than twice a week. Because
those little beads, you don't want to be too aggressive with the skin. As I mentioned before,
if you are too aggressive with the skin, your actually not going to get the results you
want. And your actually are going to defeat the purpose of trying to accomplish healthy
skin and that is obviously your main goal. So, obviously, don't do it more than twice
a week. But you can do exfoliating scrubs because helps actually prevent the dead skin
cells from building up on the surface. So your skin actually stays glowing and your
products will continue to work well. So, that being said, that would be what exfoliating
scrubs on a weekly basis for home treatment.
