Hello everybody I am here with the Brookstone Sand.
Umm... for a review.
Not much of a tutorial today, but it is going to be a review.
Ah, so the Brookstone Sand
says "Pack It, Pull It, Shape It,
Love It!" So it's 2% polymer
and ninety-eight percent sand so you can mold it
and it doesn't get on your hands so it doesn't stick to you.
It stays in its shape and I'll do a demonstration in a second.
Um, let's talk prices.
This container of 2.2 pounds,
was $19.99 from the Brookstone Online Store.
And then the small one, which is 12 ounces
is 38 percent this size
is $14.99 so if you're looking to buy this, I would recommend
the big one. And a nice accessory
that does not come with it, but I recommend also.
is the sand box that's
made specially for this. The large,
the large one when you poor all the sand out into the sand box it
covers the whole area. Not the small one, this
one is nice and not as expensive.
if you think about it size. The sand box comes
with two tools. The circle tool and the knife tool. The knife tool
isn't sharp at all. And you can also buy more accessories
from the online store that have other tools
to make other objects. Let's get this open
You might just want to get the knife tool and scrape it.
Yeah, so it's a lot. You can
get it to cover the area. Yeah, so as much as I put my hands in,
nothing comes off onto my hands.
So, it's clean
Brookstone says that it
it never dries out. It says "Never put it down, it never dries
out". Um,
but we have read reviews that if you leave
it out like this for a long time like months and months, then it will
dry out so I transfer it from the sand box
to the bin when I'm not using it. So that's what I would recommend
but you can do whatever you want. Um, so
the knife tool isn't
sharp, yet it cuts perfectly and you don't want to cut too hard
because you don't want to scrape the sand box. And then the circle tool
um, you can't just put in there and expect a circle.
And then it's *cough* really
mushy and, yeah just a little demonstration.
Form it and then
to break it, it's mushy and that's kind of cool.
so you have to do get in and
squish it down as hard as you can
pack it in there. The more you pack it,
the harder it will be to break and...
the nicer it will look. So,
I like to get the knife tool
and take it off, clean it up
a little and then
you go and it's a perfect
circle and when you pick it up, it doesn't break
like all sloppy one and its
really nice but you can easily smash it and easily
cut it. So, go to
www.Brookstone.com to learn
more and that's it. Thank you!
