In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful.
I'm the father of martyr Motaz Bl-Allah Alshaar
My name is Muhammd Bashar Al-Shaar
Four weeks ago we were in a trip
While we were getting back home
We entered Abul-Alkarim Alrifai Mosque
I'm telling you the story, In all honesty
I swear on the Quran that this is what is happening in our country
We were getting home from Dumar. It was the time for prayer, so we entered Alrifai mosque
We did the prayer
We got out
The sermon was decent and calm and there was no stirring
We got out and were surprised by security forces in very large numbers
They were armed with electric shock batons, normal batons, chains
We witnessed the assaulting on innocent people. That was something big to us
We could not be Patience
We don't belong to any organization or to any thing against the government
we just witnessed our kin getting killed
Twenty two years old, a student in the University of Damascus, first year in law faculty
He was so affected by the police assault on demonstrators
Hitting without mercy
by sticks on head or where ever it hit
It ended (the demonstration) in the first Friday.
In the next Friday we also went to Al-Rifai mosque
They (security forces) were tougher
They brought worker from the province and dustmen
which they gave sticks, batons and chains
To attack people and commit crimes
we went out (to home) also
The guy, Motaz could not accept what is happening to people and how they are bleeding
In the next Friday (the third),
He said, father that should be happening
This is blood not water, those are our kin, in Daraa and else where.
We should go (demonstrating)
I said: my son, Eye can not resist the awl, they have rifles, weapons, what ever
We can't stand in front of them
He said: my dad, let me die as martyr
better than being villainous with my kin and relatives, with Daraa, Hums and Banyas etc..
We did not want much. we just wanted to stand between many people
Many people should stand together
so the don't eliminate us alone
because the are criminals that does not fear Allah
Second Friday ended
We went to the third Friday
Again in this Friday, the same thing happened. It was a bit calmer
In this Friday, we went to pray in Hasan mosque
In Shaam, Medan
We came out form the prayer
There were some protesting
No demonstrator was holding any thing more than his bare chest
It ended, we went to Darya. I'm living in Darya
I went to my home in Darya, the road was closed.
I parked the car. People were gathered
He said my father let us go [with demonstrators]
Any way there was no way to home, so we got out and stood with people
All his slogans were peaceful and freedom
He did not ask for more than that
And... he did not hold by his hand any thing
that could hurt the security
He got those two bullets
I was going to rescue him
while I was going to rescue him
He bled for about fifteen minutes on the ground
They attacked me
They attacked me by sticks
These are the marks
[a man says may allay disable their hands, may Allah break them]
I got a hit on my head and one on my hand and another on my leg
All by their sticks
He is bleeding [father called] oh people just rescue him
they [security] - in cool blood- wasted the time and stalled again and again
till we got him to the hospital, We could not rescue him
All what he got out for was to support his kin which are getting killed in other provinces
As for what they call an armed gangs
We did not see - we witnessed four weeks as I said-
We did not see any demonstrator holding a stick
The gang we saw it by our eyes, It's so clear
And by the well of God I'm telling the truth
That they [gangs] are all from secret police
and president Bashar security system
This is the story by it's details
There is no armed people
No armed gangs
No intruders
It's all lies by lies and fabrication
We are all peaceful
We asked for freedom
We asked for people who spent 40 years in jails to be released
these were our demands
That was our blasphemy to government
His two brothers were arrested too
One is in the ninth grade
The other is in the eleventh grade
The are arrested
There is no power or force but Allah's one
I'm on his way too if it's Allah's well
he gave him self as a martyr for this country
and for the oppressed
and for Allah in the first place, naturally
There is no power or force but Allah ones
We belongs to Allah and to him we will return
May Allah accept [him as martyr]
This today date on the newspaper
[sound from the background] There is no god but Allah
