Colombia, level with Ecuador on 13 points, host rock-bottom Paraguay on Friday.
The home side's main man is Atletico Madrid striker Falcao, who shares the scoring lead
in Spain with eight goals, level with Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo.
But striker Rodriguez has warned his team-mates not to underestimate Paraguay.
"Paraguay is a rival that has always been tough. We can't be too confident."
Despite their bottom-place position, Paraguay's defender, Paulo Da Silva remains positive
about the match.
"Colombia's current situation is different than ours. We are in need of points and, well,
we know we're going up against a great Colombian team. It will be a tight match, but we won't
give in. Surely, by playing a good match we will get another chance. We know it will be
tough. But we're confident we can do it."
The weather could be a factor for the players, temperatures expected to reach 34 degrees.
