Hi! My name is Karl James, owner of Creolesoul Catering located in Round Rock, Texas and
on behalf of Expert Village, I am here to continue on with this series we call making
a meal. This is part 3 of the series and will be the second side dish which will be creole
style green beans. Okay let's look at our ingredients for our creole style green beans.
Of course, we are going to use our holy trinity which is the celery, green pepper and onion.
as well as we are going to use some garlic in that. We are also going to add some tomatoes,
green beans, a couple of pieces of bacon that we are going to render. We will use the bacon
fat and add the bacon back in at the end. Some brown sugar, little flour, some Worcestershire,
salt and pepper. So we will put these ingredients to work. We will cut our bacon in some small
pieces, render that out and then add our other ingredients to that, let it simmer and we
should have our creole style green beans. Feel free; if you don't like tomatoes, leave
them out. If you like them, leave them in but for the recipe we are going to leave the
tomatoes in. Anyway let's get started.
