Good evening and welcome to a new episode of the program “Khat Tamas” (Demarcation).
Today on the 13th of February 2014, marks 6 years since the martyrdom of Hajj Redwan, Emad Moughniyeh.
The leader of the Resistance whom we got to know after his martyrdom.
This Resistance has a school of struggle, thought and combat, continued and remained
And till today is defending the people of the Dahiyeh and the South
As well as different places on the path of liberation that it believes in.
Tonight we will know more about how they think and know more about Hajj Redwan from his family.
Let us watch the introduction of the episode together
Hajj Redwan has departed, crowned in the two victories.
When Kafr Sousa exploded the question of Damascus
His face appeared the one whom America and Israel hunted for 3 decades and more, was killed in Damascus
So before the spring (revolution), Emad told us with his blood that Syria is no longer always a safe back for the Resistance
But it will be caution for fire.
After the martyrdom of Moughniyeh, the Syrian government released via its official television station
Confessions of a Mossad spy with a Palestinian/Jordanian nationality
Suggesting the involvement of Palestinian parties as the last ones who met with Emad that day.
After 3 years of his assassination Kfar Sousa trembled with the sting of the Arab Spring and the masks dropped
It became clearer how and through whom Israel killed Hajj Redwan.
We will not explore a question which is greater than us, but on the 6th anniversary of his departure.
We will tell you about his voice and his Quran, his favourite song
His favourite place in the South and we will go where he went and where he left his remnants.
His young men, his soil, his home and his thought, his loved ones and his voice.
This is the lemon of Hajj Emad.
Peace be upon you on your remembrance. You are the line and the contact for this night.
This episode is not filmed in the studio nor behind us is a map of the Resistance and its victories.
If Hajj Emad or Hajj Redwan, is the mainstay of Resistance and the mainstay of the 2 victories as Sayyed Nasrallah named him
How was he martyred, where and what happened in his funeral procession. Let us have a look together.
The night of the 12th of February 2008, the Hezbollah leader, Emad Moughniyeh was assassinated in a bombing in Kfar Sousa - Damascus
O’ nation of the martyrs, the wound is deep?
Yes, however the appointment is tomorrow and tomorrow for the beholders is near
Tomorrow the nation will go to the streets, celebrating the martyred leader.
This is the one whose soul does not know defeat. He does not fear the names of prey.
13th February 2008: Dahiyeh, Southern Beirut. The funeral procession of the leader of Hezbollah, Emad Moughniyeh.
Emad Moughniyeh has left behind him for you tens of thousands
Of fighters trained, prepared and who are ready for marftyrdom.
Surat Ya-Sin – Quranic recitation in the voice of the martyr Emad Moughniyeh
When we get to the Garden of the Resistance we can’t not send salutations to the one who lead the resistance for years.
He remained hidden from Mossad and CIA intelligence.
The commander of great operations, some that are known and some that are unknown
Who is Emad Moughniyeh and what does he represent. We will hear in the words of his enemy.
He frightened me a lot and still scares me.
Emad Moughniyeh was courageous, smart, a dangerous figure to the state of Israel.
We also need to question how this man succeeded in becoming so dangerous
An engineer of great operations, the military leader of Hezbollah
And the whole time he was better than those who hunted him.
Emad Moughniyeh, the military leader in Hezbollah, and who was known to the people only after his death
Emad, who was born on the 12th of July in the year 1962 in the city of Tyre (Soor)
Joined the Fatah movement in Beirut in the 1970’s. After the movement left Lebanon in the year 1982,
He joined Hezbollah and progressed militarily and became one of the most important military leaders.
Israel accused him of the responsibility of numerous bombings and military actions against them and the United States in Lebanon and externally
Especially after their assassination of Sayyed Abbas Al Mussawi, the previous secretary general of Hezbollah
After a long and complex tracking process, taking years, the Israeli Mossad was able to reach a solid track which Moughniyeh pursued
The report stated Moughniyeh stopped at an apartment in Syria’s capital, it was his killer mistake
The chance of his assassination was here, it was the chance that was described as “forbidden to waste.”
All Israeli security officials stood at the headquarters of the Mossad
File on the table: Operation assassination of Emad Moughniyeh in Damascus
Damascus is in front of us as the open book, we track everything, we see every movement with satellites too.
The actions of resistance wasn’t confined to Hezbollah
But started with Palestinian factions and even with the leftist movement in the national resistance
However always, till the time of his martyrdom he was a student of the school of struggle that they call Wilayat Al Faqih.
What did Imam Khamenai say about him when he was martyred; let us have a look together.
This martyr Hajj Emad considered himself to be from the children of the Imam (as),
Truly if we compare him and an Iranian man, you would think an Iranian man would be closer to the imam than him
He is close to the Imam as much as the Iranian man. Why? Because the Imam gave him spirit, the Imam gave him life.
Young men like this are present in Lebanon, Palestine, Gaza, in every place.
Who would have thought that the young Lebanese men who do not own advanced weapons
Defeat the army who claims to be the strongest army in the world and they were defeated.
Just as Hajj Redwan was one of the young men of Lebanon just like what Imam Khamenai described him as,
There are many young men in Lebanon who are the students of Hajj Redwan.
This school is not restricted to one martyr, some were famed but there are a lot whom we don’t know
Who are till know in their sites of struggle and working
Before we go to the details of the person Emad Moughniyeh was and his idea
Let us see a recording explaining how the fighter in Hezbollah should be like
And what Hajj Redwan used to focus on; let us listen together
It is clear that the objective is clear, specific and precise
It is also a great objective and not a simple objective. A realistic objective that can be achieved.
Because the type of Mujahid we desire now is different of that we wanted a year ago.
The type of objective we were working on a year ago is completely different from now.
The type of practical assignments we are assigned are much bigger than those from a year ago.
Does it make sense that the same Mujahid we are looking for is the same as the one we wanted a year ago?
In terms of function, in terms of experience, In terms of his character. Definitely not.
In the essence of this axis is spirituality, the spirituality of faith and the spirituality of struggle.
The power within that allows us to physically fight is not from our physical ability but rather our spirituality.
This spirituality that is linked absolutely with God Al-Mighty.
The spirituality that Hajj Emad Moughniyeh is talking about in this recording is a spirituality that is carried in blood.
The secretary general of Hezbollah Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah brought forward his son as a Martyr
But it wasn’t as a target, a *** or kidnapping
Rather Sayyed Hadi Nasrallah chose to fight the Israelis on the battlefield.
He was Martyred and his body was taken hostage and then freed.
Sayyed Hadi is opposite to the children of Commander Of Hezbollah
Hajj Emad Moughniyeh as well as his grand children and what they are doing in present time as well as at the time of his Martyrdom.
What would you like to say to your Grandfather? I love him. What is your name?
Emad Moughniyeh. Who do you take this name after? From my grandfathers name.
Like your grandfathers name... What are you wearing Emad? Military uniform.
I want to be a resistance fighter!
I swear to you my father, I say unto you O father of Martyrs His eminence Secrtary General of Hezbollah
We are with you, we are your sons as are all the sons of Martyrs. We are with you wherever you go.
We will not abandon this procession, we will not abandon the battlefield
We will not abandon our arms, we are at your service O’ Nasrallah!
2013 – The Iranian Fars agency published a picture of Jehad Emad Moughniyeh with the leader of the Al Quds Force in the Iranian Revolutionary Guard, Kassem Sulaimani
I would like to welcome Fatima daughter of the Martyr Emad Moughniyeh to talk.
O’ My master, I am your daughter, Fatima daughter of the Martyr commander Emad Moughniyeh.
History has brought forward itself and arrived with time. Blood has reach blood.
The struggler has reached his struggle. The uprising has reach its revolution and triumph has reached its victory,
Fatima, Jihad and Emad junior are those who Emad gave life to and left
But there are individuals that grew up with him who were from the same parents (as Emad)
His sister Zainab who acted in a public resistance role in the series ‘Qiyamat al-Banadik’ (The Ressurection of Guns)
Zainab who is the sister of the Martyr Emad – Maybe
She derives patience from the example of Lady Zainab, the sister of Imam Hussein who is the Master of Martyrs.
We are going to take a trip to the South with Zainab to try to understand who was Emad Moughniyeh.
Spray the flower petals & amber, decorate the villages with the shine of your eyes. Fill the fields with the purity of his palms
Lock the tears, hide the sadness announce the secrets and celebrations
Come from every place and spread to the full extent, the beginning of his life.
I am the daughter of his father, I alone called him with his name, Emad.
His face today fills the tops, revolutionary, resistant, does not sleep.
My brother is the mainstay of struggle and the heart of every freedom fighter.
A recorded recitation in the voice of the martyr Emad Moughniyeh from 1987
Hajj Emad used to often pass by and pray in the shrine. He would visit it way before it was nicely done up like now.
It was like a station for him, he'd often come on the way to work or back to his home town to visit us he'd pray here.
Thats why it makes me feel as if his soul is still present here.
Every time I pass by I would feel his presence here as he would always come into here so his soul feels present.
In the July (2006) war he was not in South Lebanon, We only got one chance to see him in July.
What did he say to you?
There was no real chance to talk to him as we were in a state of shock when he came to us.
I carry a proud feeling as all the people envy me because I am his sister. They say you're lucky, the sister of the leader
The first time he held Ali, he told he looks like his uncle, he was very pleased that his looks resembled him.
Before Emad was martyred we were living in a situation where we had to forget that Emad Moughniyeh was our brother
This thought we would have to try and get rid of it. Even my son did not know his uncles name until after he was martyred
When the Hajj was martyred there was a surprise; we would find his pictures on bill boards.
It was a surprise, we wouldn’t show any of his pictures before he was martyred; not for our own sake but for his own safety.
From Zainab Moughniyeh’s participation in the Resistance series “Qiyamat al-Banadik” (The Ressurection of Guns)
Some people had seen you but did not recognise that you are the sister of Martyr Emad Moughniyeh
At the time of you were an actress in ‘Qiyamat al-Banadik’ (The Ressurection of Guns).
Everybody who know the Hajj closely, would know how he would look at every situation and what was going on
He wasn’t just a Military commander.
What else would he follow and pay attention to?
All the technical, cultural, economical, all the things that would surround him, there would be nothing he’d leave out.
It would get to a certain point anything you would talk to him about he would already know about of it.
If the Hajj was not Martyred would he have given you his opinion on your acting in The Ressurection of Guns?
Most certainly.
Here you are saying Samyan is always with the Turks and mulezem Rahfat
We are not strong enough to face the the turks and mulezem Rahfat mother
Panorama "Asmawareth" was created as a media event for Hezbollah in the Gebayreh council
It was one of the major events that they took part in the first stages of these productions
I wanted him to come and view this production as he had seen these sorts of panorama's in Syria
So he had a fair idea of what they involved.
I never expected because I had invited him so many times that he would turn up even though I had hoped he would
One day to my surprise he arrived. We tried to bring him inside the event with the people but we couldn't
So he finally went in and watched in a calm manner and gave us his opinion, he even requested to speak to the director
I was a bit nervous because of course they all knew he is my brother and information like that
But he was adamant and he gave his opinion truthfully He impressed but that didn't stop him from being critical
He made it much easier for the team to get to certain places when we needed to shoot footage
There were places people couldn't have access, but he would make sure they'd get there, sometimes he would go with them
But of course they never knew who was with them.
There were a few productions like 'Nasrak hazz el deni' where he was directly involved in all the details
Logo of the series The Ressurection of Guns by the son of the S.G. of Hezbollah, Sayyed Jawad Hassan Nasrallah
The words to this song for this serious was written by the brother of the martyr Hadi Nasrallah - Sayyed Jawad
It isn't just a resistance on the battlefield but also through media and this is what Emad Moughniyeh had always said
We will be back to speak to Zeinab after this small break.
"And if you return we shall return," these short words have great meaning
If the Israeli's decide to come back we also shall come back.
In the resistance there is something called "war of the media"
In the 2006 war a lot of focus was on patriotic songs and vital media events by Al-Manar and those affiliated channels.
A lot of those events were masterminded by Haj Moughniyeh as we've seen in the first part of our segment "Khat Tames"
Tonight, in the second part of our program we are going on site
To observe the team filming footage of a patriotic song for Martyrs remembrance day, let us view this together.
We are filming in 3 a half minute clip a story which talks of this major event 'Martyrs day"
We have the resistance on the battlefield and a resistance through media.
Who has created this anthem?
It is a creation of a few people, Dr Nabel Atoui he is the director of the anthem
How do you feel about this project that your involved in? What is the name of this poem?
"The people of victory" in truth this poem, I was on Facebook and noticed Sayed Jawad had posted it and it caught my interest
Before I contacted Sayed Jawad Nasrallah, I reread it and slightly felt uneasy about asking him for it
So I wrote the music for it, the words impressed me so much.
This isn't the first time Sayed Jawad has worked in these events?
Of course Sayed Jawad is very known in his field, he is a very talented writer.
So straight away on Facebook, after writing the production I contacted him and requested permission.
His reply was 'I knew you would be the first to want this poem and request it" and he agreed.
So you feel it will be a success with your input and being viewed on Al-Manar?
With all due honesty we do have prior work that proves our success
Only a short while ago we received a gold trophy in Baghdad media event for work we have done called 'Bayes al aytham"
In the year 2014 with this project called "People of victory," who would you like to dedicate this to?
To the commander of martyrs who died 16th of February Sayyed Abbas Al-Mussawi
Marytr Emad Moughniyeh, martyr Hassan Lakess
The men of stone and people of victory, their strength is endless and cannot be stopped
When the fire shakes the ground, their hearts have no fear
Young men from the resistance media the preparation of "The people of victory" the lyrics of Sayyed Jawad Hassan Nasrallah
Hezbollah
We are at your service O' Zainab
O' Hussein
From the Resistance media and those men who sacrifice everything and have made an oath in their lives
That could at anytime bring them here as martyrs
We will go back to Haj Emad, his sister's son Ali, who also took part in this series 'Keyamat albanadek"
What did he learn from this experience? We will see together
His uncle is Hajj Emad, be careful yes?
They tell me I look a lot like him the Haj
So you need to grow up to become a brave hero?
Yes I have to become like him, they tell me I can be just like him
What did you understand from this experience, this experience with being involved in the series?
I understood that if someone is going to occupy my land
Like how Israel is occupying Palestine we can achieve freedom and victory over them
This man who is called the magician and the illuminating mind didn’t only leave an imprint on his nephew Ali
He had left an imprint on thousands upon thousands of Lebanese men wherever they were stationed in all places
Through his different thoughts and paths
There are roads from Qom to Tehran in Iran by the name of Emad Moughniyeh
As well as roads from Southern Dahiyi to his village Tayr Deba.
We will go along with his sister to his road in his village and listen to his preferred song, lets watch together.
Emad Moughniyeh favourite song “Imshib Dar Sar” for Iranian vocalist Mohammad Asfahani
Why did you ask to play this song as we come to this village?
The Hajj used to love this song very much, and it reminds us of him
The dvd of Asfahani reached me in 2005
I felt like sharing it with the Hajj since fundamentally the Hajj knew of him (Asfahani) but he loved this track the most
what is it called?
Imshib Dar Sar - What does t mean?
Basically it is a monologue between a person and the planets and the sky
And that the person is feeling he is reaching the sky and is in a distant place
And it is a feeling as though he has left the ground for the sky never to return
We actually came to know that the Hajj was listening to this song before he was martyred, just a few hours prior
Thats why it reminds us of him
A connection can be drawn between what would happen to him and with what the persona was feeling in the song”
In remembrance of the great jihadi leader the martyr al Hajj Emad Fayiz Moughniyeh
All of our memories with the Hajj occurred in the Syria since we could not exit our homes here as we could in the Syria
Our outings always occurred there in the Syria
Sometimes in Ramadan they would prepare an iftar (breaking of fast) for the whole family in the Syria, he'd be very relaxed.
That day why did you not travel with him?
That day? Because the day before he called me...
He said lets do a prayer for a divine decree to see whether or not you accompany me
The prayer was not a good one...
Every fighter and every man who fights to give victory to truth and to remove the oppression from upon us
I see within him Emad Moughniyeh
Before it be a matter of ideology, it first is a feeling of patriotism, it is defending my land and defending my property
In no future day will the path of Hajj Emad Moughniyeh or his brothers end because God is supporting it
And God willing it will continue with this generation
The house of Emad ≈ in his Southern village
The house of Emad Moughniyeh in his Southern village
Mother showing various medals and awards including military dog tags and a university award
Just like Zeinab ended saying she saw her brother in all the fighter of Hezbollah on all fronts and in the martyrs
Verily Sayyed Hassan said “Emad Moughniyeh has left for you tens of thousands of young men who are trained and ready."
from these leaders and fighters, those who fought in the July war and were martyred
And those who are fighting now on the ground in Syria and was martyred
Emad Moughniyeh built thoughtful leaderships and fighting schools, of whom we will be introduced to called “Abu Turab"
Abu Turab giving a sermon
Among the believers are men true to what they promised Allah
Among them is he who has fulfilled his vow [to the death], and among them is he who awaits [his chance].
And they did not alter by any alteration
This is what the Quran says about these martyrs
Whilst the bible states “whoever believed in me and died will be resurrected”
When someone believes in a matter that affects his existence, death and martyrdom becomes a path towards victory.
This was Hezbollah, the line of demarcation for Hezbollah and its martyrs
Today Hezbollah remains on this path and the whole Dahyi today is a line of demarcation.
Todays episode of demarcation has ended. Goodnight.
