Oh look at that they move all by themselves. Fancy!
Oh jumping sausages! Go sausage!
(♪♪♪)
Hi everybody welcome back to my kitchen! So today I'm going to be making
a delicious stuffed biscuits. Now what's great aout these biscuits
are you can make them for breakfast, you can make them for lunch, you can make them dinner.
Whatever you want to do, cause pretty much you can stuff them with whatever you want.
Today I'm going to be making breakfast style. So let me show you what the ingredients are.
Ok guys so today we're going to be using
breakfast sausage. These are chicken sausages, uh
breakfast with sage in them. I find these are really good. They're fully cooked but I'm actually
gonna cook them with a little bit of maple syrup. We'll be using
this in the beginning and in the end of it. Also you're going to need
bescuits of some sort. You can make your own. I like using these Grands Flaky Layers because
they are easy to split apart. You're going to need cheese of some sort. I just
happen to have taco cheese which is probably no the best but we're going to use that. Also,
I'll be using some onion and some green pepper. Ok guys
so those are the ingredients that we'll be using. Like I mentioned
you can pretty much put anything you want in there. If you want you can put some pizza sauce, um
cheese, chicken or beef of whatever you want. Kinda make it into your own little
thing. So first what we're going to do is chop up our pepper
and our onion and then we're going to go ahead and start cooking our
sausage and I'll show you how I'm going to incorporate the maple syrup onto the sausage!
(♪♪♪)
Ok guys so we have our pan now.
I'm just going to, I put it on a medium heat.
I'm just going to put a little bit, a little bit
of oil in there. Just so our sausages don't burn.
Now these that I have here, these are actually
fully cooked if you can see, but what I'm going to do
is I'll show you here. Now this looks odd, it's in a margarita glass!
Just take some of your maple syrup and then
you're going to take a brush. Like a rubber silicone brush
or a bristle one if you have it. Then
you're gonna let this kinda heat up. Roll around your oil in there. If you have a
non-stick pan you can just go ahead and use that. Alright so now
what we're going to do is just one by one
stick our sausages
into the pan. (♪♪♪)
Ok what we're going to do really quickly
is we're just going to drizzle the maple syrup
onto one side of our
sausages. Ok you can put a pretty good generous layer
on there. Alright...
now we're going to flip them over.
I know they haven't cooked at all yet but we actually wan tto flip them over
and then we're going to put more of the maple syrup
on the other side. Ok, so go ahead
and brush it on the other side.
If you don't have a brush,
umm you can just kinda drizzle it on there though
I think the brush works a little bit better. Alright
now we have our sausages cooking in the pan. You're going to let those
brown up a little bit and then before you take them out, I'd say a few minutes before
you think they're done. Go ahead we're going to brush it back on and then we're going to chop them up.
So I'll see you when they're done. Ok guys so I put our biscuits out and
I have done 2 of the biscuits. So now I'm going to show you what We're going to do. So
you're gonna take and open up your biscuits in the middle.
These have been sitting out for a while so they're kind ahard to open, but
normally they are easier. Alright so we're just opening
our biscuit pretty much right in the middle
then just leave it open like so. I'm gonna take this one and show you this one as well.
Just find the middle, there we go, that's
pretty much the middel and open up your biscuit.
Split it into 2. Again if you're making biscuits yourself,
you can just make them thinner, then double them up. Ok,
so now we're going to take our sausage
and we're just going to put that in the middle,
of the bottom part of the biscuit. Ok just like so.
You can put quite a bit in there because the biscuit itself is going to
puff up quite a bit and that is going to cause this
to... there is going to be a lot of biscuit and not much
filling. So put a lot in there. So again I'm going to put the sausage,
on the inside here. Next I'm going to take our green peppers
and I really love using these green peppers because
when you put them in the oven and when they cook, the taste
of them is just so much more. You just takste so much green pepper
taste and it's really good. Ok I'm going to take that and do that for both.
Try your best to kinda get everything to stick on there.
Try and fill them as much as you can. Ok,
now here is our onion.
A little bit of that on there. Again if things fall out
you can just pick them up once you're done and yeah.
Ok now we're going to take som cheese!
If you don't like cheese, don't use cheese but
we here enjoy our cheese even though
I'm trying to kinda get away from it. Anyways, put some
cheese on there and then you're going to take this part of your biscuit and you're gonna
kinda stretch it out a little bit. Then you're just going to fold
it over the biscuit. So go over and then you're just
going to take and pinch the sides
so that your ingredients stay in your biscuit! So we've got a done like this.
Again I'll show you, you just just take your biscuit, and you stretch it
out. So it's a lot bigger. Fold it
out and over the top and then just either pinch
down like so or just pinch it together.
Ok so now I'm gonna do the rest of the bicuits and
then I'll have them pu tin the oven. Ok guys so now we're going to put
our biscuits into
oven. Oops I didn't take the pan out. Alright
put those into the oven at 350〫F
and it took me about 15
minutes. Just kinda watch them and once they're brown on the
top, that's when you take them out and I will show you guys when they're done! Ok guys
so I've taken these out of the oven. As you can see they've browned around the
top. It ended taking around like 20, 20 some minutes.
So once they look like this then what we're going to do is put them onto our plate and I'lll show you
the next step. Ok guys so we have our biscuit. I reccomend doing this
part just before you're going to eat it. We're going to take our maple syrup
and we're going to brush it all over the top!
Again make sure if you were using raw meat before, that you have
cleaned this out. That is
our stuffed biscuit! Alright guys I hope you have enjoyed today's uh cooking
video. Again here's our stuffed biscuit. These are really
delicious! Again you can really take this to pretty much whatever you want. If you want to do
pizza. If you want to do breakfast. If you want to stuff it for Thanksgiving! Maybe I'll
do something similar to that for you guys. Alright if you guys have
