Hi, I'm Jane from GreenSmoothieHabit.com. Welcome. I received a letter from Timmy. "Hi,
Timmy, how are you doing?" He writes, "Jane, can you do a video on how to fully pulverize
strawberry seeds? I just got the 5200 from your site." Thank you, Timmy, I appreciate
that. "The first time I ran it on high for a minute, the second time for two minutes,
I flipped it to high and I'm still getting seeds in the smoothie. Show us how to liquify
strawberry seeds and how long in the Vitamix. Thanks, Tim." Easy to do, Tim, all you do
is put the strawberries into the Vitamix. I used about two cups to show you how to do
this, so that we could get some mass going. Just to show you how to work the controls,
I flipped it on, then I dialed it up to 10, then I flipped it to high and I really think
maybe no more than 30 seconds went by. I haven't seen a strawberry seed that hasn't gotten
pulverized in the Vitamix. See how smooth and creamy it is... and just because I had
to have my greens, I added some Iceberg lettuce, nice and neutral, so it wouldn't kill the
strawberry flavor and now we have a strawberry Iceberg green smoothie, very smooth, like
silk. What do you think, Timmy? And what does it taste like? Just fresh strawberries and
Iceberg lettuce.
I taste the strawberries, not super sweet because the strawberries aren't in season
and weren't that sweet, so if you want it sweeter, add a banana or a half of a banana.
But look, there is no way there is a seed to be seen. Thank you for writing to me, I
hope that I helped you, and we have created yet another green smoothie, because as we
all know, the Who Knew? Green Smoothie is the first one in my book because who knew
Iceberg lettuce had such good nutrition in it? You can use it in your green smoothies,
it's a nice mild green to get started with. I invite you to look inside my book, just
click on the image to the right, it will take you to my website and the pdf will pop up.
Thank you.
