what is up guys it is your boy cursez bringing you another video of some black ops 3 and
today we got a highly requested video its not super highly but a lot of people been
asking me and i want to answer and try to tell you guys because a lot of you guys want
to become YouTube partners and such like that so today's video is about how many subscribers
do you need to make a living or a job at YouTube if you guys are new to the channel be sure
to subscribe also if you guys do enjoy this video if you can smack the like button i would
appreciate that lets get into the video so there is a couple of things that go into making
money on YouTube one if you're signed to a network if you're a smaller channel usually
especially gaming channels gaming channels usually need a network because copy right
stuff and they pretty much protect you against all that so its pretty necessary to become
a partner with a network on your channel because they help you with stuff like copy rights
if you get a gaming game play that gets copyrighted you know everyone else does it but they help
you with that if you're more into real life videos that doesn't have music or anything
that cant take a chance of getting copyrighted then you dont do a network you just use adsense
so a lot of people dont knwo this but youtube takes about 45 to 50% of youtubers money right
off the start and once they do that if youre signed to a network and if you're a smaller
channel odds of you being under contract that 50/50 or 60/40 or 70/30 is very high and what
that means you make 70% of your money and the network takes 30% of it yes it kinda sucks
but like i said if you're a gaming channel then its kinda necessary other wise you would
do adsense but YouTube takes half of your money right off the start so usually its a
dollar per 1k views but technically its about 2$ per 1k views and YouTube takes half of
that which is understandable it sucks but thats the way it is they provide the platform
for us to make money on this website so its all fair use so if you're signed to a network
or partnership in a 50/50 contract because you're smaller usually the less money you
make on YouTube the more you're going to be taken away from your money so its going to
be a 50/50 so YouTube is taking half of your money and then you got your network taking
half of your money so your not even getting half of your money so that takes into account
just depends on what your network deal is on how much you can make on youtube but were
going to go with the adsense way and were going to go off that on how much you can make
and how many subscribers to make money on YouTube so there is no real answer to how
many subscribers you need to make a living off YouTube you can have 50,000 subscribers
and make a really good living off YouTube even more than a part time job there is people
out there with 50 60 70 thousand subscribers and they make well over 1,000$ a month of
YouTube it just really depends on views you get monthly basically if you get a million
views a month that is about 1,000$ a month but it could be more depends on a lot minimum
its usually 1,000$ a month so if you're you see somebody socialblade and they get 3-4
million views their typically making no less than 4,000$ a moth and i know this i dont
make a living off YouTube i know this because i been doing YouTube i been partnered on YouTube
i collected numerous checks from YouTube ive gotten direct deposit from my network and
i know how the payments and everything work and all that the views and the money and cpm
and the ad rate and all that stuff analytics behind it i pretty much know it i have had
a lot of videos get 100 200 thousand views 60 thousand 50 thousand and i know how it
works so i can answer them questions for you so another thing that factor in is watch time
YouTube really pays on the watch time people with 10 minute video are longer get paid way
more and that because multiple ads and watch time will be a lot higher then a 3 or 4 5
minute video so streaming on youtuber uploading 30 minute videos vlogs 10 minute 11 minute
12 minute videos it gets you paid a lot more so it could very it doesn't really go off
of 1 dollar per thousand views thats just a guideline you can make well over triple
the amount of money of views you got so if you can have like 10k views on a 20 min video
and you can make 50-60 bucks off that so it really just depends on all that stuff but
if you want to go off a guideline its 1$ per 1k views roughly and it could be more it could
be way more it could be a little less but that is you know the main guideline you can
go by right there so what that being said YouTube does not pay for subscribers its all
based off views if you get right amount of views you can 40k subscribers and you can
get 3-4-5 million views a month and thats a good 4-5 thousand dollars a month and a
lot of people dont understand also is YouTube you dont pay taxes so at the end of the year
you're going to have to pay taxes on all that money you earn and while you're making 4 thousand
a month and that equals about what a little over 50 grand a year which is really good
really good but at the end of the year you're going to have to pay taxes and if you dont
use receipts and tax right offs and all that then you can pretty much be looking at half
of that so you would be paying 20 25 grand depending on where you live in taxes and it
just really depends like i said if you keep all your receipts that you invest into your
business if youre a video game channel then if you're buying video games keep all video
game receipts console receipts anything like that gas receipts to go get the games anything
that cost money to go get what you want so that is the end of the video and it doesn't
it doesn't really matter how many subscribers you have its based off the views if you guys
get a lot of views you get paid a lot of money and you dont even have to have any subscribers
so i hope that answers your guys questions if you guys did enjoy this video be sure to
smack the like button be sure to subscribe if you're new peace out if you guys do have
any other questions about networks or partnerships that you want me to make a video on next leave
it down in the comments below and ill try to get to it thank you guys so much for watching
peace out
