Erik: What makes a great wedding?
Conrad: You know, it's funny. It's as simple as just having a nice room and then having
your family and friends. You know, that's really all it is. Everything else is, you
know -- there's a million different variables, but really if you just have those important
things it will be fine.
Erik: Did those simple pleasures surprise you?
Conrad: Uh yes, actually. You know, when you go into it, on paper, you think it's supposed
to be 'a big awesome moment', and then when it finally came around to that evening, I
was shocked to find myself emotionally overwhelmed by the experience. So, it was a surprise,
yeah.
Erik: What do you remember most about that day?
Conrad: What I remember most is the actual ceremony, maybe because it was the only time
I was actually, you know, spent with my wife, looking at her the whole -- for an uninterrupted
period of time. The other thing I remember is really wishing the night would go on forever
because all your friends are there, you know, and you wanna like have fun, and it just goes
by so fast.
