I would like to go to school
and eventually be able get into the work force.
Either become a police officer or get
in a bigger agency like the FBI.
I chose the Administration of Justice Program
at Allan Hancock College because they have a good variety
of teachers.
I've had a CHP chief.
I've had the Police chief.
He's adamant about getting you out on ride-alongs
and putting you out with his officers and being able
to see what it's actually like.
So if I would go into a workplace, you know,
training for an academy at Allan Hancock College
for the police force, it would be more of a review.
It's a re-introduction of what I've already learned.
So I'd be more comfortable and maybe be able
to achieve my goals better than if I were to come into it fresh.
They kinda build on, you know, procedures and how
to act with the community.
You need to be able to handle situations, try not to,
you know, judge before you know all the facts.
Kinda a wealth of knowledge.
They prepare you very well for the workplace.
