For man and life; A true believer should never betray [a trust]
The believer should never betray [a trust]
When one becomes the neighbor of another and does not repay him the debt he owes him, he is deemed a betrayer;
something that the believer should never be…
This message is directed to all the people who deem permissible the usurpation of the money of those they disagree with
Indeed, some people follow certain meaningless Fatwas,
which make them go to Mecca or Mina and steal some sheep and offer them as a sacrifice,
claiming that the people there oppose Ahl El-Beit; thus, they are allowed to take over their money
In the same sense, when they meet a trader who does not follow the line they follow,
they deem his money permissible to put their hands on; indeed, some people act this way
They even deem permissible the misappropriation of the money of Muslims
Moreover, some immigrants buy insurance policies from an American or European company,
and set their shops on fire, or deliberately crash their cars to get the insurance payment
Indeed, many people who perform their religious duties of fasting and praying did that and collected millions…
Other immigrants make use of the facilitations provided by the foreign banks,
so they borrow big sums of money and return to their countries without paying their debt,
under the pretext that it is the money of disbelievers
A true believer should never betray any trust
There is no difference in trustworthiness and respecting people’s money; the money of all peaceful people
We are not only concerned here with issuing a Fatwa, for some claim that I issue any Fatwa just to cause controversy
as many religious scholars and others do
It is Allah Who says, and you all understand Arabic:
“Allah does not forbid you from respecting those who have not made war against you on account of (your) religion”;
i.e. they did not fight you because you are Muslims,
“and have not driven you forth from your homes”; on the contrary, they welcomed you in their homelands,
“that you show them kindness and benevolence,”
“and deal with them justly”, knowing that one of the aspects of justice is preserving one’s money and paying what you owe him,
“surely Allah loves the doers of justice”
Then, how could it be permissible to take over people’s money?!
Unfortunately, there are such Fatwas followed by many people who stay in immigration countries for one year and return with millions,
because they stole from this place or the other, under the pretext that this act is Halal…
