"Divergent" opens in theaters and "Review" laughs it up on Comedy Central: This is EW's
Must List for Thursday, March 20.
Divergent aims to pick up some of that sweet-sweet young-adultHunger Games cash. The adaptation
of Veronica Roth's dystopian novel stars hippie starlet Shailene Woodley as Tris, a young
girl who discovers that growing up is hard to do in totalitarian Chicago. Tattoos and
jumping ensue!
Andy Daly headlines Review, a new sitcom on Comedy Central. Daly plays Forrest MacNeil,
a critic who doesn't just review movies and food. Instead, he reviews actual life experiences:
Drug addiction, hunting, taking a girl to senior prom. Tonight sees Forrest reviewing
"eating pancakes" and "Getting a divorce." Since he's a critic, he should hopefully answer
the question, "What's worse, getting a divorce or Transformers 4?"
Electronic-music wunderkind Skrillex has already put his mark on the music world, releasing
a series of influential dance tracks. Now he's released his first studio album, Recess,
which includes tracks like "Ragga Bomb," "Doompy Poomp," and "All is Fair in Love and Brostep."
Skrillex actually has a song on the Divergent soundtrack, so at least we know the dystopian
future will be funky.
On Parks and Recreation, Leslie Knope is searching for a new best friend in the wake of Ann's
departure. Meanwhile, Tom and Ben go to TentWorld and discover that the tent rental industry
is more complicated than they thought. The show's in its sixth season and has never been
better or lower-rated -- but it should still have a seventh season, because the TV industry
is almost as complicated as the tent rental industry.
That's all for today. Come back tomorrow for Must List Details on the Girls season finale,
when Hannah and Jessa will finally discover the true identity of the Yellow King.
