Hundreds of people turned out in Thailand on Monday to see the annual Buffalo Racing
Festival.
The event, which is in its 141st year, sees more than 100 water buffalo from all over
the country tearing down a sand-covered track, piloted by skilled jockeys who are trying
to scoop large cash prizes.
At the start of the race, the jockeys climb onto the buffaloes' backs, before they are
released.
This may seem dangerous, but for experienced jockeys, it's easy.
With all ages taking part it seems Buffalo racing is here to stay.
