Hi! How are you feeling?
Happy? or maybe you are sad?
Feelings, or emotions, are an important part of being human.
During a single day, you
likely experienced whole lot of different ones
it is not up to us they just happen,
when something around us trigger them.
They come and go as reactions to changes in our environment.
and two are thinking up
what is the point of us having emotions? They can save our lives,
motivate behavior get us to do things
that are necessary for survival.
Emotions are key to forming relationships
They appear in response to satisfaction
or thwarting of basic needs and goals. Like when we do,
or don't, get what we want or need
Emotions can be directed at people
or at physical phenomena like the weather.
Sometimes we don't know that we are emotional.
I'm not angry! They can be constructive
or destructive - not good or bad - since they all
have meaningful parts to play in our lives.
One thing all our emotions have in common
is that they appear when something matter to us. Be it real
or imagined. The good news is:
You can train yourself to learn how to control your impulses, and be free to choose when to
act on your feelings,
and when not to There are situations when emotions can be
inappropriate, they can be too strong
or too weak, or just getting in the way.
The trick is to learn more about them in order to be free to choose
how you want to act.
This type of emotion and empathy trainings are slowly entering our schools...
That's great! Because to survive the uncertain future
we need to see the rise of the ***-EMPATICUS.
