How To Tie a Tie: The Christensen
Video Shot in Mirror Image
Start with the wide end of the tie on your right.
Have the wide end of the tie hang approximately
14 - 16 inches lower than the narrow end of the tie.
Cross the wide end of the tie across the narrow end.
Bring the wide end of the tie back behind the narrow end
with the wide end of the tie pointing to your right.
Bring the wide end of the tie through the loop
around your neck going front-to-back
making sure the wide end of the tie ends up on your left.
Cross the wide end of the tie across the front.
Bring the wide end of the tie back behind the narrow end
with the wide end of the tie pointing to your left.
Cross the wide end of the tie across the front a second time.
Bring the wide end of the tie up through the loop
around your neck going back-to-front.
Finally, bring the wide end of the tie through the knot
making sure to go through both of your final loops.
Tighten the knot.
Slide it up to your neck.
And there you have the Christensen.
