This video will demonstrate how to use collections within your Learning Portfolio. Collections
organize a group of artifacts to make finding specific artifacts easier. To create a new
collection go to your Learning Portfolio dashboard and choose New Collection. Give the new collection
a name. You could choose to add a description if you'd like, I suggest that you also use
tags. I'm going to use the tag 'First Year', and I'm going to click save.
The real power with collections comes from that fact that you can automatically collect
artifacts based on tags that you use. For instance, if you use the First Year tag to
organize all of your First year artifacts, you can use this collection to automatically
collect those. If you scroll down and add to collection, you can choose to add a tag
list. Give it a tag list name, and add tags to the list. And click Save. Now, anytime
you add an artifact with the tag First Year, it will automatically be collected in this
collection. You can see I have one thing already listed as First Year, and here it is in my
collection. I'm going to click Save and Close.
