Think of yourself as a balloon there's a point at which a balloon is at its very
best just the right amount of pressure
with very little pressure in it the balloon is lifeless the low pressure state unchallenged and
underperforming
a little more pressure and it starts to take shape not particularly impressive but
definitely resembling what it should be like this is the state we often tend to
stay in our comfort zone doing what we know not willing to try anything new a
few more challenges a bit more pressure - the balloons still coping well and reaches its
optimum state the stretch zone were capabilities are being used to the
fullest challenges being met potential being reached
a bit more pressures pumped in
the balloon begins to strain its still coping keeping itself together it's working at its
peak but this is only sustainable in the short term it cant carry on
it cant cope with much more
only a very small amount of extra pressure until finally
the balloon cannot hold all the pressure inside
