Hello. It's Nichole Kellerman here; founder and creator of Successful Weight Loss
School.com; where women go to stop dieting forever, reshape their bodies and feel wildly
alive. Okay, today, I wanted to talk to you about stress eating. Ahhh! Man this is a big
one. And a lot of people do it. And the thing is, most of these really, really get created
at work for most part. I really want to focus on stress eating in the work place and how
to get really de-stress, wozaa, which will inherit, will also keep you from going to
the cafeteria or the lounge room or the vending machine or whatever that is for you. These
are non-conventional but you know me, I like it that way. So, the first that you want to
do is get to know your co-workers; creating that connection. Ask them what they wanted
to be when they grow up. Ask them about their animals, their kids. If they have a dream
vacation where would they go. Really try to find that camaraderie and create that connection;
bringing some bonding into the workplace is really going to help with stress eating. I
don't know what the heck it really but it really is. It's going to calm the entire office.
Number two is I need you to get out of the office. There is no eating at your computer
in my book. All my Successful Weight Loss School sisters know that I do not allow that.
That is not okay with me. You need to get out of your office and take a little mental
break. So, load up your iPod with music that makes you feel incredible. Go outside. Set
on a bench. If it's cold outside I even told the client yesterday to get into the car and
turn some music. Eat your lunch in a car if it's really, really cold and just try to get
lost in the music and take a little deep breathing session. And number three; this one's fun.
For us ladies is spruce up your place. Get some flowers and place some flowers over here.
This is my home office. I have a little sense sid. And always bringing up some beautiful smell.
I like to keep things organize. If there's anything around that's kinda weighing me down,
I kinda tossed it out. Really spruce up your place. Bring some pictures of your family
members, or your dogs or your kids and make it really colorful. Really make this your
sanctuary because you're gonna work more efficiently, you productivity level will go through the
roof which is really going to help with stress eating. And it's really, really fun.
