Hi guys, and welcome to Hair with Hollie on Videojug Beauty. Today I'm going to be showing
you how to get Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen hair. So it's really cool, beachy waves, really
boho and we're going to throw in a really interesting plait feature, too.

So this is quite a low maintenance style and really easy to do because it doesn't have
to be too structured. So, what we're going to do is, if you have very straight hair,
we're going to just prep it with some soft spray. Just run this through the length of
the hair. And all you do is kind of scrunch it up. Just gives a bit of texture. So you
can do this when you get out of the shower on kind of damp hair as well. So as you can
see, you can kind of get that textured look already, it's just giving the hair a bit of
a grip. Just taking the sleek look out of it. So I'm just going to continue doing this
onto all the hair until I have quite a grungy look. So once you're happy with the kind of
texture of your hair, what we're going to do here is just because our model has very
straight hair, we're going to pop a few curls in the bottom. Just to give it that real kind
of wavy beachy look. So just taking random sections of hair. Just so you get a bit of
movement.
So I'm just going to continue doing this throughout the whole hair. So what we're going to do
here, we're going to put just a little bit of volume in at the roots. So just wherever
you think you need. So we're just going to go around the crown just to give it a bit
more volume. So just to give this a bit more of a boho look, we're going to add some plaits,
because nothing says boho like some plaits. So we're going to take some sections here
from the front. Today we're going to leave the bangs down at the front section and then
we're going to plait Amy towards the back of the head. And we're just going to go halfway
down the shaft of the hair because we're going to join this plait to the other section when
we have it ready. Hold that in place with a clamp, and then do the exact same on the
other side. So once you have your two sections done, I'm just going to bring them together
here at the back of the head and we're going to make a little feature out of them. Just
secure them in place with a little curvy grip. Hopefully in the same shade as your hair.
And now we're just going to wrap the hair around, kind of make a bit of a knot, nearly.
So once you're happy with the knot, what we're going to do today is, we're just going to
work another plait, just down the back of the head, just to make another little feature.
Just loosely braid and create a kind of half plait down the length of the hair.
And we'll just wrap the hair around the bottom instead of using a bobbin, and we can just
pin this in place at the back.
Okay, so if you're happy with your look and everything is in place, just finish the whole
thing off with a bit of hairspray.
So there you have it, the finished look. So gorgeous and perfect for summer. So if you
want to see more summer braided looks like this, maybe even a braided up do, do give
this video a thumbs up and I will see you next week. Bye.
