Resident Evil 7 has made a huge splash at the biggest video game conferences in the world.
In June at E3, Capcom released the Beginning Hour Demo & Trailer.
At European Garmescom, they released the Lantern Demo & Trailer.
Needless to say there is a pretty good chance they won't stop now, and at the Tokyo Game
Show in September Capcom confirmed they will continue to feed our fix for:
[RESIDENT EVIL 7]
So far we've seen a gameplay mechanics preview when we met Jack Baker and a preview of real
in game VHS mini-game content when we hooked up with Marguerite.
But we have yet to see anything from the main portion of the main game with the main character
and we have also not seen anything from Lucas Baker.
It would make sense if he was the featured enemy if there is a new demo.
A new demo would also have to have a 1st person character you will play as, and a brief Lantern
press release video clip may give us a glimpse as to who that may be.
Many RE7 fans haven't even seen the clip showing a shadowy figure sneaking around an attic,
but you can tell by the shadow's shadow that he is the mystery hoodie guy from the original
trailer.
He looks to be quite stealthy.
Does this mean this is footage from another VHS tape?
And are all the VHS tapes sneak mission mini-games that don't involve fighting or gunplay?
You have to also wonder why this clip was casually slipped in to footage from Lantern
but omitted from the trailer?
Is it straight from new demo?
Was it a mistake or Capcom being sneaky?
Is this Ethan searching for Mia?
Is it Lucas?
Is it the unnamed main character of the real game???
I DONT KNOW!!!
I guess I'll have to wait til September for
some more:
