Hi, I’m Doctor Dave Sjulin, a graduate of the Nebraska Medical Center. I have been in
practice for 18 years and I’ve been part of the Boys Town Ear, Nose, and Throat Institute
the last 8 years.
I decided to go into medicine during college. My freshman year I took a biology class from
Doctor Jahnavi. After a semester with Doctor Jahnavi, he decided that I should be a doctor.
I went out and spent a summer with him doing research in Ogallala, Nebraska and after that
I never looked back.
I chose ENT because I enjoy both clinic and surgery and I enjoy working with people of
all ages.
The thing I love most about being a doctor is the opportunity to have a relationship
with patients and their families and meeting their ENT needs.
My philosophy of care is to have a deep doctor/patient relationship where there is ample opportunity
for questions and answers, Working here at Boys Town has been a fantastic
experience for the last 8 years and I really feel the spirit of Father Flanagan is in everything
we do.
When we are able to help someone with their problem and resolve it, the feeling is something
you want again.
And that’s what drives me to continue to practice medicine.
