Common frame care mistakes - Number one frame care mistake is when they're not being worn,
they're left someplace where something bad could happen to them, leave them in reach
of kids. Children are the number one detriment to a parent's glasses. The kids will bend
them up and twist them. So keep them at a level where your young ones can't get to them.
Dogs demolish glasses. Those two things really come to the forefront of my mind. So, first
off, placing the glasses. The other thing is keep them in a case because if they fall
onto the floor, you step on them, again, if it's in a case, you're going to be alright.
If it's not, you're going to be heading to your optician to find out what the warranty
program is for those glasses. Again, putting them on with two hands, taking them off with
two hands, not leaving them in the car. If they do get out of adjustment, don't try to
do it yourself as I've kind of already showed with these glasses. If they're bent like this,
take them to the optician, don't try to undo the damage yourself. You're more liable to
break it than your optician, and generally speaking, an optician is going to feel the
obligation. If they were the ones to break them, then they're going to be the ones responsible.
So take care of your frames, keep them in places where your young ones and your animals
cannot reach them. Try to keep them in the case, don't leave them in the car, and you
should be good to go.
